Remarkable Wooden Railway Model 

Apprentices at the military engineering schools in Cartagena made a beautiful model of the wheels and operating systems of a steam train – out of wood. 

The section can be seen at the Military Museum in the city.  Everything looks as if it is ready to roll off down the track and yet every single piece is carved and painted wood.
