Food Favourite – Knobbly Tomatoes

These knobbly and strangely shaped tomatoes are beloved by Cartagena foodies. They are known as “pata negra” and are absolutely delicious. They can also be very, very expensive.  But gourmets say that the taste makes the price immaterial.  Many say that the tomatoes from around Mazarrón, west of Cartagena, are the finest in Spain.
