Super Luxury Yacht Ties Up One visitor to Cartagena’s luxury yacht port in the early part of the summer of 2006 was the vast Rising Sun. This was said at the time to be the biggest private yacht in the world, although it was later suggested that a bigger one has now been built.
The Rising Sun belongs to the founder of the Oracle corporation, which makes computer equipment. The yacht hung about for several weeks but none of the Beautiful People who jet around the world to such pleasures were spotted. Perhaps it was undergoing maintenance as Cartagena’s shipyard specialises in this type of work.
