Rugby Contact

Cartagena has a rugby club associated with its university and foreign players and supporters are always welcome.

The man to contact is the coach Julio, who comes from Argentina and, therefore, knows a thing or two about rugby.  Julio works at the Terraza Del Sol Cafe, beneath the city walls at the waterfront.  The café is on the pavement right behind the submarine, across the road.  He normally works until 3pm and would be delighted to meet anyone interested in the game.  His son played top-level rugby in Argentina for many years.

The Terraza Del Sol opens from 7.30am to 11pm, Monday to Friday, and from 8.30pm to 11pm on Saturday and Sunday.
