Cartagena’s Port – The Facts Sailors have been steering vessels in and out of the bay of Cartagena since time immemorial and today the port has developed into a highly successful centre of maritime trade. Here are some basic facts from the Puerto de Cartagena organisation that manages the port, which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
