Try Some Desert Island Cruising

Food Favourite – Octopus

Cartagena people love eating every type of octopi, from tiny baby ones no bigger than a thumb up to monsters that were probably captured while attempting to strangle Captain Nemo’s submarine.

This big fat octopus was spotted in a local bar.  On ordering, the barman simply snipped off sections of a tentacle into bite-sized pieces and they were served with a fork and bread.  The flesh was tender and juicy and the sauce delicious.

”Pulpi” is the thing to ask for if you want to try this local favourite.
