Try Some Desert Island Cruising

Motorcycle Museum

There is a great museum of motorbikes and horse-drawn carriages near Cartagena.  This has a collection of some 75 vintage bikes, including some very rare Ducatis, including a Ducati 450.  The carriages are also magnificently restored with beautiful laquerwork and upholstery.  Some of the carriages date back to the 17th century.

The Museo Zamar, is a large yellow building with a big horse and carriages sing on the roof.  It is on the right, off the motorway-type road that leads to La Manga. Look for the El Algar La Union exit.

Museo de Carruajes Zamar, Ctra. La Unión, Kilometre 2, 30366, El Algar, Cartagena.  Telephone 968 136 656, www.museodecarruagjeszamar.com.
